NIGHTMARE

This collage is about a very, very, very bad nightmare that i had. In the nightmare it was basically a really happy, fun Christmas eve (which is my birthday) and all my family were together for dinner for my birthday and i can't actually remember why but there was a huge fire and most of the house burnt down and as i ran outside everyone disappeared and i was all alone and then there was this mad cereal killer after me! So i tried my best to put how i felt and what happened in the dream into this collage. The main attraction on the collage is the image of the man dressed in black cloth with dripping blood from his fingers. The man is actually Danni Filth from the band Cradle Of Filth. I chose this picture to really set the mood and to make viewers realise the horror in this dream. He is there as the "Cereal Killer" in my dream. The background is a couple of different images all giving different emotions. The background at the very top really is showing how i was all alone and i felt like there was no one one anywhere to help and i was lost and didn't know where to run and hide. The background in the middle is really just representing the fire and the Christmas decorations for Christmas eve, it is showing the happiness at the start of the dream and the nightmare beginning. At the very bottom of the collage there is a image of trees and it is all sort of blurry and different neon glowing colours. I thought when i saw this picture that it really showed the sense of the dream where i was running from this man and how i felt that everything around me was blurry and i didn't know what to do. Also that i was confused and scared. The last image is of the hawk. I have used this bird of prey as an example as to the feeling that you are being "hunted" of chased.
