The Stolen Generation
This collage was made entirely from magazine cutouts. The meaning behind it and the inspiration was "The lost generation". There is a pile of rocks with lots of little wood carved people. I have used them to represent the Aboriginals. Around these wood people i have placed white people from today to represent that we took their land and kicked them out. On the far right there is a large women representing how we took power and told them what to do and controled there every move. the wood carved people are small to show how the white people looked down apon them and treated them like they were litrally that small. the backround i have chosed is a big flock of birds and i have placed it so that its like the bird are coming into the picture to land. This is to give the idea that the white people really just came into the land and took over everything.

This is my favourite and I hope you use this for your print. It truly reflects the way we have literally put the stolen generation on the shelf for a long time avoiding the issues that have so longed top resolve ...consider the doll like figures and what they suggest
